Scoopon

After starting at Scoopon the team was presented with the task of redesigning the website both visually and structurally. The design went through hundreds of iterations before everyone agreed to settle on the current one you see today. The backend team did a fantastic job of bringing the site to life utilising NoSQL and a custom built .NET solution.

The site was built to be responsive to make it more easily viewable on tablet and mobile devices. On top of this is has also been optimised to support retina devices such as Apples iPads, iPhones and even there new retina MacBooks!

ID LAND

IDLAND wanted to overhaul their website and make a bold statement with their sites new design. Utilising 100% of the screen and customising a separate mobile version were all part of the plan.

The site was built using Drupals CMS. It has some bold features such as a full screen map of Melbourne pinpointing projects with custom Google map icons. In addition to this project pages show off their images at full screen size as well. This works seamlessly on tablet and mobile devices.

Dulux Wash & Wear Promotion

Dulux asked Byte to design and develop a compeition page for their Wash & Wear Promotion. This then fell back on me to design a compeition page that matched the print collateral.

The page was built utilising the latest HTML5 and CSS3 technologies with fallbacks for users on older browsers. The forms utilisated jQuery for client side validation, which was then intergrated into .NET backend which handled the entries.

Snickers sessions was a promotion run by snickers to coincide with their campaign at the time, 'your not you when your hungry'. Two Melbourne based bands had 3 songs each, of different genres chosen by snickers. People could then vote for these and the song that won was then recorded and available to download for the first 500 users.

The whole campaign was run through wordpress, including the custom setup of a voting module that displayed up to date percentages.

Corona Extra

Corona Extra was a blog created for corona to consolidate what used to be 3 separate websites. The site allows a select number of authors to post articles about cool events, gigs, locations and so on. This draws further on the corona's slogan of "from where you'd rather be" by including awesome location photos and images of amazing, hidden locations from around the globe.

The whole site was built in Wordpress, utilising a custom theme and some custom built functionality.

Volley

Volley wanted an ecommerce website built in magento, but as a third party supplier couldn't delivery it on time we built the site in cakePHP minus the ecommerce functionality. It was based off the same designs and was used as an interim site before the full ecommerce site was up.

The website was built to AA Accessibility standards and was viewed by hundreds of thousands of users throughout it's life time. Phase 2 which is currently live was developed by another agency one year after we launch Phase 1.

The site was built using the Drupal CMS and was built entirely by myself. Been a government site it had very strict guidelines which had to be met and the site launched without a hitch, and made for a very happy client.
